German embassy will start offering appointments for students with admission letters for the summer semester of 2024 by the end of May. For the unversedm Admission letters dated after May 15 for the summer semester of 2024 will be canceled, and students will be informed via email.
The new step aims to streamline the visa process and manage the high volume of applications the embassy has received amid exodus of young people.
Amid the huge influx, German embassy further introduced new priorities for the upcoming registration period. Priority will be given to applicants with scholarships from German institutions and PhD students. Those getting CGPA of 3.7 or higher will get special online registration opportunity.
Applicants must prepare a comprehensive set of documents for their visa application, including various forms, copies of passports and identification, academic records, proof of financial means, and health insurance. Having all necessary documents ready is essential for a smooth application process.
In a similar development, German embassy also announced changes to the Schengen visa appointment booking process for Pakistani individuals. A waiting list system will be implemented to manage appointment slots more efficiently, based on the office’s capacity.
