MUMBAI – Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal’s mehndi function photos on Saturday went viral on the social media.
A few days ago, Sonakshi Sinha announced her marriage to her Muslim friend Zaheer Iqbal, unveiling that they would tie the knot on the 23rd of this month in Mumbai.
Following the announcement of Sonakshi Sinha’s marriage to Zaheer Iqbal, the reports emerged in the Indian media about a rift within the Sinha family as no family member would attend the wedding festivities.
However, Shatrughan Sinha himself denied such reports, saying that he would attend his daughter’s wedding and bless his beloved daughter.
Now, the first photo from Sonakshi and Zaheer’s mehndi function has gone viral.
The viral photo was shared on Instagram Stories by the couple’s friend, Jafar Ali Munshi, showing Sonakshi in a brown Banarasi outfit and Zaheer in a white and brown contrast shirt, posing with friends.
The house could also be seen decorated with yellow, orange, and white marigold flowers, fitting the theme of the mehndi function.
Earlier, the reports emerged in Indian media which showed that Sonakshi and Zaheer Iqbal wanted to keep their wedding away from the limelight but now their friends shared a photo from the wedding.
