The man’s extreme reaction stemmed from emotional intensity due to rejection, as he entered a class and attempted suicide by shooting himself.
The incident was captured on mobile footage and it went viral on social media. The details later surfaced online as the teacher refused her student’s marriage proposal. The broken-hearted then took a handgun to the college, where he briefly holds a class of students hostage.
College authorities quickly approached local police, who arrived on the scene and, after a brief negotiation, the cops managed to disarm the student. He was later taken to a police station for further proceedings.
Police later revealed that the same student injured himself last month with a sharp object.
