KARACHI:
On the instructions of Acting Police Chief of Karachi, Imran Yaqoob Minhas, foolproof security plan has been finalised on the occasion of Eidul Azha.
In this regard the Karachi police chief has issued instructions for strict security measures across the city especially at the mosques, imambargahs and Eidgahs.
More than 12,700 police officers and personnel will perform security duties on the occasion.
According to the spokesperson, 5,600 personnel in the East Zone, 3,656 in the South Zone and 3,525 personnel in the West Zone have been deployed to perform security duty, while 2,170 officers and personnel have been deployed at the collection point of skins of the sacrificial animals across the city to prevent any untoward incident.
