Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves fall by $63 million

KARACHI – Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserves reached $14,315.4 million as of May 24, 2024.

As per the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday, the foreign reserved held by the central bank stood at $9,093.7 million. Net foreign reserves held by the commercial banks stood at $ 5,221.7 million as of May 24, 2024.

During the week ended on May 24, 2024, SBP’s liquid foreign reserves decreased by $63 million to $9,093.7 million due to external debt repayments.
