Pakistan is experiencing slow internet due to disruption in underwater cable amid technical glitches.

The internet disruption in Asian nation was reported due to global submarine cable hit that impacted internet services in certain areas.

As people faced issues in surfing during Eidul Adha holidays, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) reported malfunction in SMW4 international submarine cable, one of the seven cables linking Pakistan to the global internet.

As the techinal glitch led to slow internet, internet users in Pakistan may continue to face slower internet speeds during festivity. PTA said teams are actively investigating the fault and working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
