RAWALPINDI – Pakistan armed forces have extended Eid-ul-Adha greetings to the nation, stressing to remember spirit of sacrifice on this festival.
Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and the Service Chiefs sent their heartfelt felicitations to the people of Pakistan on the Festival of Sacrifice.
In special messages, top military leaders remembered martyrs and veterans who have significantly contributed to the freedom and peace of Asian nation. Forces officials also called on people to remember the sacrifices of the armed forces personnel who have laid down their lives for the country’s sovereignty.
Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir paid tribute to the martyrs and commended their unwavering commitment. The top general praised the resilience and patriotism of Pakistani armed forces, reiterating their dedication to safeguarding the nation.
On this occasion, Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Amjad Khan Niazi, and Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar, also greeted nation, commending contributions of the armed forces.
Air and Naval chiefs also stressed importance of national solidarity and the spirit of sacrifice during these challenging times.
