Market timings in Lahore extended ahead of Eid ul Adha 2024

LAHORE – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has extended the market timings in Lahore to facilitate traders and customers ahead of Eidul Adha 2024.

The high court has allowed the markets to open till 12 midnight on weekdays and till 1am on weekend. The order comes as people have started preparations for the Eid festival.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is all set to meet today (June 7) to see the Zil Hajj crescent, which will determine the date for the Eidul Adha 2024 in Pakistan.

The meeting would be chaired by Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad in Karachi.

The Eid festival is celebrated by Muslims across the country on the 10th of Zil Hajj.

Markets across Lahore can operate till 12 midnight on weekdays and till 1 am on weekend.
