Lahore-Islamabad Motorway M2 toll tax for cars from May 2024

LAHORE – The M-2 motorway, also known as Islamabad-Lahore motorway is 375 km long and located entirely in Punjab.

It also connects various cities including Sheikhupura, Chakwal, Kallar Kahar, making it one of the busiest routes in Pakistan.

M-2 motorway is however a toll road, as commuters have to pay the toll tax at the exit points along the route. The fee helps in the maintenance and upgradation of the motorway’s infrastructure.

The National Highways and Motorways Police last revised the toll tax for Lahore to Islamabad on M2 some nine months ago and it remain effective for 12 months.

The authority has fixed the toll tax for Lahore to Islamabad at Rs1,100 for cars, jeep and pickup.
