Justin Timberlake is concentrating on his music and isn’t letting his recent arrest phase him.
The event will go on, a source close to the 43-year-old musician said, despite his arrest on Tuesday, June 18, for DWI charges in Sag Harbour, New York.
The insider said, “For him, it’s business as usual. The tour is continuing as planned.”
After his most recent performance on June 15 in Miami, Timberlake will be performing again in Chicago on June 21 and June 22. In addition, he is expected to tour through December and play in New York City on June 25 and June 26.
The Grammy winner left the American Hotel, where a source told People magazine he was “hanging out with friends,” and was booked with one count of driving while drunk. He also received two penalties for failing to stay in his lane and hitting a stop sign.
“I had one martini and I followed my friends home,” he told his arresting officer upon being pulled over, according to his arrest report obtained by the outlet.
According to the investigation, Timberlake’s 2025 BMW ran a stop sign and the driver failed to stay on the right side of the road. The singer’s “eyes were bloodshot and glassy,” the report claimed.
The report states that after he repeatedly refused to submit to a chemical test, he was taken into custody and brought to the Sag Harbour Police Headquarters for further processing.
