The 12th Tent Pegging Championship started in F9 Fatima Jinnah Park in capital city Islamabad on Saturday June 8, where riders flocked from parts of the country and participated in the equestrian sport.
Chief Commissioner and Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa was the chief guest of the inaugural function held yesterday while former Deputy Mayor Islamabad Syed Zeeshan Naqvi organised the event.
In the opening ceremony, Chief Organizer Syed Zeeshan Naqvi presented Turban to the Chief Commissioner and Chairman CDA Chaudhry Muhammad Ali Randhawa along with bouquet of flowers and a souvenir.
Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi also attended the event as chief guest. Kundi was awarded souvenir and flowers from Chief organiser.
The championship is hosting 300 teams and 1200 riders who flaunted fine skills.
