IGP vows to solve problems of police officials, families

Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is actively engaged in addressing the issues and problems of police personnel and their families.

In this regard, the IG Punjab held a meeting with police officials and their families at the Central Police Office and issued directives regarding relief measures after hearing their requests.

According to details, IG Punjab forwarded the request for the recruitment of the son of Inspector Ahmad Ali (late) from his widow to the Additional IG Punjab for necessary action. Dr. Usman Anwar directed DIG Establishment-2 to provide relief regarding the employment of the son of ASI Muhammad Akram (martyred) upon the request of his widow. Upon the request for granting the status of a Ghazi to Inspector Shakil Ahmed, IG Punjab instructed AIG Discipline for disciplinary action based on merit. On the request for departmental promotion by Inspector Syed Khawar Hussain, Dr. Usman Anwar directed Additional IG Punjab to provide relief. Furthermore, upon the request for a medical grant for the operation of Constable Saeed Ahmed form Rahim Yar Khan Police, DIG Welfare was directed to provide relief. IG Punjab also issued directives regarding other requests related to discipline, recruitment, and welfare matters. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that the timely resolution of issues faced by police personnel and their families is a top priority, and every possible step will be taken to ensure their welfare.
