Haris Tyre, Hasnain Autos among 42 businesses sealed in Lahore

LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Thursday sealed 42 buildings in Lahore for not paying commercialization fees.
The sealed premises include Haris Tyre, Hasnain Autos, grocery shop, private school, show-rooms and offices.
LDA Director Town Planning Sidra Tabassum supervised the operation which was carried out by the enforcement teams with the help of Police in Faisal Town and Model Town Extension. As many as 15 premises were sealed in Faisal Town and 14 in Model Town Extension.
LDA Director Town Planning-IV Ali Nusrat supervised the operation in Johar Town where 13 premises were sealed for not paying commercialization fees.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
