Kendrick Lamar’s recent concert, “The Pop Out – Ken & Friends,” held in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, has sparked a social media debate about Drake’s iconic 2015 OVO Fest performance.

At the fest, Drake famously performed his Meek Mill diss track, “Back to Back,” a moment now being reconsidered by fans after Lamar’s impressive show.

When Complex shared a clip of Lamar’s set on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday night, fans expressed harsher opinions about Drake’s performance in light of Lamar’s concert.

One user wrote, “To think about it, this was the response to divert from the ghost writer allegations…. He just distracted yall.”

Another added, “If Kendrick put up pics of Drake behind him at Ken & Friends y’all would call him obsessed.”

A third fan commented, “We really let this Canadian dude disrespect a street n***a from Philadelphia. This how I know Kendrick and LA is different.”

During “The Pop Out – Ken & Friends,” Lamar highlighted several West Coast icons and performed multiple Drake diss tracks.

He concluded the night with repeated performances of his biggest hit, “Not Like Us.”

Addressing the crowd, Lamar declared, “Y’all ain’t gonna let anyone disrespect the West Coast, huh? Oh, y’all ain’t gonna let nobody mock and imitate our legends, huh?”

The event featured appearances by Tyler, the Creator, Dr. Dre, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, and many more artists, with several celebrities, including LeBron James, also in attendance.
