Driving License Fees increased in Pakistan; Check latest update here

ISLAMABAD – In another blow to inflation hit people, Pakistan’s federal government has jacked up driving license fees by 25 percent for both motorcycle and automobile.

A notification shared by government confirmed considerable hike in driving license fees, affecting individuals applying for licenses for motorcycles, small vehicles, and large vehicles.

Furthermore, an extra Rs 2,000 will be charged, in case if you are looking to get license on urgent basis. The notification also introduces new charges for the mandatory driving test, with Rs 300 for small vehicle applicants and Rs 500 for large vehicle applicants.

Driving License NOC Fee Rs 1,000 per NOC
Mobile Facilitation Fee Rs 200 per applicant
Road Safety Education Session Fee Rs 200 per violator/applicant
Service Charges for road test
– Motor Car Rs 200 per test
– LTV Rs 300 per test
– HTV Rs 500 per test

In a similar update, aspirants will be granted learning permit valid for six months, providing sufficient time for preparation before the rigorous driving test.
