LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched “Maryam Ki Dastak App” to facilitate citizens by providing various government services at their doorstep.
All citizens including senior citizens, women, sick and disabled persons will initially be able to avail 10 services at their doorsteps through this app.
Citizens can apply for Domicile, E-Stamping, Birth Certificate, Death Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Divorce Certificate, Motor Vehicle Transfer, Property tax, token tax and new vehicle registration through this app.
Furthermore, Citizens can order services through Web Portal, Mobile App or Call Center 1202. They would also be able to, track applications using their Tracking ID.
For the services, a dedicated Dastak representative, Facilitator, will visit the house of the citizen to provide him/her service.
The government has encouraged individual from public to apply for the position of Facilitator to provide home delivery of services to citizens, for a commission.
The eligibility criteria for facilitators is as follows:
Eligible citizens of Lahore may apply for registration via the Dastak Facilitator Mobile Application.
Must be above 18 years of age.
At least Intermediate OR At least F.A./F.Sc./A Levels.
Police Character Certificate.
Holding a bank account in their name.
Own Motorbike & Valid Driving License.
Mobile Phone or Tablet with Internet Connectivity / Data.
Dastak representative will ensure delivery of documents from application form to citizen’s doorstep.
Follow are the steps to register as a facilitator on the DASTAK platform:
Step 1: Download “Dastak Facilitator App” from App Store or Play Store.
Step 2: Tap Sign-Up.
Step 3: Fill form.
Step 4: Attach required documents.
Step 5: Submit.
After scrutiny, shortlisted applicants will be trained by PITB for home delivery of services to the citizens.
