LAHORE – Chicken meat prices in Pakistan significantly dropped in Lahore and other cities of Punjab as its demand has decreased due to Eidul Adha as people have stored mutton and beef.
Chicken prices saw a decrease of Rs44 per kilogramme as it dropped by Rs20 on Sunday and Rs24 today (Monday).
In Lahore, Rawalpindi and other cities, the chicken meat prices decreased to Rs394 per kilogramm on June 24.
A day earlier on June 23, the chicken price was fixed at Rs418 per kg in Lahore and other cities of the Punjab province.
The price of eggs has been fixed at Rs250 per dozen.
The chicken rate in Pakistan for today has been fixed at Rs394 per kilogamme after it saw a decline of Rs24 per kg.
