Britney Spears is feeling a little “Toxic” after her ex Justin Timberlake got arrested for driving while under the influence.
On Tuesday, June 18 – just hours after news of Timberlake’s arrest went viral – the Princess of Pop took to her Instagram to share a sly message, seemingly celebrating the karma that had finally been served.
Sharing an update on her Las Vegas vacation, Spears, 42, posted a photograph of her fruity cocktail.
“It’s the little things you know !!!” she cheekily wrote in the caption to the post, which also featured a photograph of her legs submerged in a swimming pool.
In a subsequent post, she shared another one of her infamous dancing videos as she modeled multiple dresses.
“First cocktail dress ever !!! Playing in Vegas today and tonight too,” she revealed in the caption, adding multiple winky face emojis.
Though Spears did not directly mention the NSYNC frontman’s arrest, her fans were less forgiving.
Many banded together to make an old video of Timberlake from 2007 seemingly urging Spears to “stop drinking” go viral.
“And 17 years later, it ended up begin him eating his own words, you reap what you sow,” wrote one fan on X (previously Twitter).
“Karma has been been served,” noted another.
