It’s the kind of baggage that could break any relationship: a protracted, bitter divorce and a deepening rift between a father and his children. But for Brad Pitt, 60, and his girlfriend Ines de Ramon, 34, these challenges have only strengthened their bond, DailyMail.com can reveal.
Despite ongoing legal woes with ex-wife Angelina Jolie and estrangement from his kids, Pitt appears happier than ever in love and isn’t ruling out a third marriage or more children. A friend of Pitt’s shared that the twice-divorced dad-of-six is “on board” with starting over with de Ramon, describing her as someone who would make a “wonderful mother.”
A source close to Pitt told DailyMail.com, “It’s devastating for Brad that he basically has no relationship with his kids, but Ines has been a real source of comfort. It’s actually brought them closer together. Having more kids in his life is not out of the question. Ines is young, and Brad said he’s 100% on board if she wants to have kids. He loves the idea of building a life with Ines, and nothing is off the table.”
Pitt’s friend added that their relationship is “smooth sailing and drama free,” and Pitt is committed to de Ramon for the long haul.
Pitt’s strained relationship with his children and acrimonious split from Jolie came under scrutiny again when his daughter Shiloh filed to drop her father’s last name on her 18th birthday. A source close to Pitt expressed that this erasure is a painful reminder that he has “lost his children.”
Despite these family dramas, Pitt’s relationship with de Ramon has only grown stronger. The couple, romantically linked since late 2022, reportedly moved in together in February this year. Last month, they were seen enjoying a romantic stroll on the beach in Santa Barbara, where Pitt was affectionate and close with de Ramon.
Pitt shares four daughters and two sons with Jolie. He legally adopted Zahara, 19, shortly before Jolie announced she was pregnant with Shiloh in January 2006.
The family tensions have been difficult for Pitt, especially with Shiloh’s recent decision to drop his last name. A source claimed Pitt is “aware and upset” by this, noting he has always cherished his relationship with her.
Pitt’s youngest daughter, Vivienne, also listed her name as “Vivienne Jolie” in the Playbill for the Broadway musical adaptation of “The Outsiders,” where she served as her mother’s assistant. It’s unclear if Vivienne has legally changed her name.
Zahara introduced herself as “Zahara Marley Jolie” when joining the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College. Meanwhile, Pitt’s oldest sons, Maddox and Pax, have reportedly not used their father’s last name publicly in years.
Despite these familial challenges, Pitt’s relationship with de Ramon remains a source of joy and stability in his life.
