ASP Shehrbano Naqvi Named Personal Staff Officer to Interior Minister

ISLAMABAD – Ministry of Interior has appointed Assistant Superintendent of Police Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi as Personal Staff Officer to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

A notification issued by the Ministry said “Consequent upon placing the services of following PSP officers at the disposal of Ministry of Interior on attachment basis by Headquarters Frontier Constabulary.

Syeda Shehr Bano has been posted as PSO to Minister for Interior where as Mr Shahrukh Khan named new Assistant Chief Security (PSP/BS-17) Officer to Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi.

ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi is daring police officer who was praised for rescuing a woman from a mob in Lahore, where the latter was accused of blasphemy for wearing a dress with Arabic calligraphy.

Naqvi’s courageous actions have earned acclaim from various quarters, including General Syed Asim Munir, who lauded her dedication and professionalism. The Punjab Police also recommended the cop for Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal – the highest gallantry award for law enforcement in Pakistan.
