GILGIT – The Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly would present a budget of Rs123 billion on Monday (today)
The non-development budget would be Rs90 billion while the development budget would be Rs21 billion, with Rs1 billion allocated for IFAD.
Besides it, Rs12 billion are allocated under the Federal PSDP.
The financial deficit would be 12 billion rupees.
EXPECTED SALARY INCREASE
A 25% salary increase is proposed for employees in grades 1 to 17, and a 20% increase for employees in grade 18 and above.
In Gilgit-Baltistan, Rs2 billion are allocated for a 4-megawatt solar project, and Rs500 million are set aside for the youth through the Youth Loan Scheme.
