Special teams to check illegal constructions in Lahore during Eid-ul-Adha holidays

LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has deputed special teams to check illegal constructions during the Eid-ul-Adha holidays.

These teams will conduct surveillance and immediately act to prevent illegal constructions during the Eid holidays. LDA Director Administration and Enforcement Wing has accordingly issued a duty notification.

The special teams include officers and staff from the Housing, Town Planning, Enforcement, and other wings. The special teams will take timely action upon receiving reports of illegal construction during the holidays.

On the instructions of LDA Director General Tahir Farooq, the LDA Enforcement Squad conducted a flag march in different parts of Lahore.

Tahir Farooq said strict monitoring will be maintained during weekends and Eid holidays. He said timely action will be taken against those involved in illegal constructions. DG LDA further stated that special duties have been assigned to the LDA Enforcement Squad and other staff during the Eid holidays. The purpose of the flag march is to raise awareness among citizens.
