Ben Affleck appears to be seeking advice from his ex-wife Jennifer Garner as he struggles with marital woes with wife Jennifer Lopez.
Garner and Affleck were spotted deep in conversation together on Tuesday as they were walking side by side in in Santa Monica, California.
The exes, who divorced in June 2015 after 10 years of marriage, appeared sad as they stood on the side of the street. They had come together to take their 12-year-old son, Samuel, to school for his last day before summer break, per the Daily Mail.
Affleck had a stoic face while Garner was seen with her lips pressed together in a sombre way.
The outing comes days after the Argo director had a four-hour long meeting with Lopez at their marital home, which is reportedly up for sale, via Page Six.
The speculations about the couple’s marital woes picked up after the usually affectionate duo were not photographed together for 47 days.
Later, report by Us Weekly revealed in May that Affleck had moved out of their L.A. mansion “several weeks” earlier, but neither party has publicly addressed the residence change.
“They started having issues a few months ago as Jen had started ramping up work commitments and prepping for her tour,” the insider said. “Jen is very focused on work. They are on two completely different pages most of the time.”
Weeks later, Lopez canceled her This Is Me … Live Tour to spend more time “with her children, family and close friends.
