Light rain, gusty winds likely in Karachi, coastal areas of Sindh

KARACHI – Light rains, and gusty winds are predicted in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh on Monday and Tuesday.

Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

Under these weather conditions, light rain winds/thunderstorms are predicted in Karachi and coastal areas of the province on Monday and Tuesday. Extremely hot weather is expected in most districts of the province. Gusty/dust-raising winds are expected in upper districts during the period.

Karachi’s maximum temperatures will likely stay between 37-39°C on Monday and Tuesday.

Hyderabad’s maximum temperatures will likely stay between 40-42°C on Monday and Tuesday.

Meanwhile, very hot and dry prevailed in most districts of Sindh during the last 24 hours. Hot and humid weather prevailed in Karachi and coastal areas of the province. Gusty/dust-raising winds occurred in the upper districts.

Jacobabad remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 47°C. The maximum temperature in Dadu was recorded at 46°C.

In Karachi, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 57 per cent.

In Hyderabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 40°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 33 per cent.
