LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Thursday demolished 10 buildings in Lahore for violation of bylaws. The LDA teams carried out operation on Raiwind Road and adjacent localities.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation. LDA Chief Town Planner Azhar Ali supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of heavy machinery, enforcement teams and Police. LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
